School Supplies for XinXing 2020-2021

Kindergarten

 

These supplies will be used for the class community, so please do not put your child’s name on anything unless specified

 

  • Backpack (should be brought to/from school each day). No backpacks with wheels please.

  • 2 plastic, 2 pocket folders (1 red and 1 green *please label with your child’s name

  • 1 or 2 packs of 8 count My First Ticonderoga HB2 pencils 

  • 1 spiral notebook (size: 8- 1/2 x 11)--label it with your child’s name

  • 1 pair of Fiskars scissors * Label with your child’s name if your child is left-handed

  • 1 pkg 24 mini twistable crayons (Crayola preferred)

  • 1 set of washable RoseArt or Crayola markers (8-10 count) 

  • 1 set of 4 dry erase markers 

  • 3 pink erasers 

  • 5 glue sticks (Scotch Wrinkle-free Glue Stick preferred) 

  • 1 book of stickers (Stickers need to be bigger than 1inch square. No English on the stickers, please!)

  • 1 large box of facial tissue 

  • 1 roll of Bounty brand paper towel 

  • 1 container of Clorox wipes

  • 1 box of quart size Ziploc bags (Girls contribute, slider bags preferred)

  • 1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags (Boys contribute, slider bags preferred)

  • 1 pair of child-size socks to be used to erase whiteboards 

  • 1 KinderMat, labeled with the child’s name

  • Headphones or earbuds in a labeled bag

 

First Grade

The supplies will be used for the class community, please DO NOT label.

 

  • 8  Ticonderoga My First Pencils, #2 HB

  • 1 pink eraser 

  • 5  Elmer’s Washable Purple Jumbo glue sticks

  • 1 pkg 24 mini Caryola twistable crayons 

  •  1 box colored washable markers (wide)

  •  1 large box of tissues

  • 2 containers of Clorox wipes (75 wipes)

  • 16 whiteboard Fine Point markers (black/dark blue/red/green, 4 for each color)

  • 1  pair of new white cotton adult socks 

  • 1  box quart Slider Ziploc bags (Girls contribute)

  •  1 box gallon Slider Ziploc bags (Boys contribute)

  • 1 plastic 2-pocket folders without fasteners (plain Red )

  •  1 one-inch binder (plain color, no pattern, Red or Blue) 

 

Second Grade

  • 2 large boxes of Kleenex* tissues 

  • Ticonderoga My First Pencils, Wood-Cased #2 HB Soft, Pre-Sharpened with Erase, Yellow, 4-Pack

  • 1 box quart Ziploc bags (girls only)

  • 1 box gallon Ziploc bags (boys only)

  • 1 one-inch binders (any color) 

  • 2 composition books 100 sheets 9.75” x 7.5” (Please do not write your child’s name on it)

  • 2 Glue sticks (Scotch* wrinkle free)

  • Expo Dry Erase Markers, Fine Point, Intense Colors-8 pack

  • 2 containers of Clorox wipes (75 wipes)

  • 1 scissors

  • 1 12 inch ruler

Third Grade

  • 4 sturdy heavy-duty 2-pocket folders (two for Chinese and two for English) 

  • 1 basic 1” 3-Ring Binders

  • 1 package pencil cap erasers

  • 5 section divider ONLY if you purchase a 3-ring binder (not needed for trapper keepers)

  • 2 composition notebook (wide rule)

  • 4 spiral notebooks (wide rule)

  • 3-holed zipper pencil pouch

  • 24 pencils (Ticonderoga are the best!)

  • 3 highlighters

  • 1 correcting pen
