Hoping you are well. This past week has been a rollercoaster ride with many different challenges for our Meadowbrook community. Thank you for your patience with changing messages and for picking up the iPads so smoothly.  Thank you to the parents who generously donated food and supplies. They were delivered to our families.  If your family has a need for resources, you may contact our social worker, Kari Griffin, or our counselor, Nicole Sobanski, and they will try to connect you to get what you need. I miss all of your children and the joy they bring every day. It is very very quiet at school without them.

PTO Meadowbrook Mingle. The Mingle was just one week ago. Who knew so much could change in such a short time?  The great news is PTO raised $19,000!  Thank you to our chairs and everyone who came and who donated.

About the Greta Evans-Becker youtube channel. I am enjoying doing the morning announcements with birthdays and reading a book each day. I love the jokes the kids are sending me.  Please let them know that it will take a few days for the ones they send me to get into the announcements—They are making me laugh and also making me realize that my jokes might not have been as “bad” as I had thought. I will try to link each video to my twitter account which shows up on the bottom left side of the Meadowbrook home page screen.

Hopkins Child Nutrition will have buses going through the neighborhoods on a regular route delivering free lunches next week each day. Each bag has lunch and also breakfast for the following day. Free lunches for kids will be passed out at Meadowbrook from 11:30-12:30 by Mr – Dr Doctor E-B. (my husband) Monday through Friday next week. For information on the bus routes, you can use this link: https://www.hopkinsschools.org/sites/default/files/public/meal_route_bus_info_03-19-20.pdf   scroll down to the Meadowbrook list or choose a school listed near where you live. Or you can call Transportation at 952-988-4115 or MTI at 952-988-5380.

Please be at the stop 5 minutes before the scheduled time and stay until 5 minutes after the scheduled time or until the meal has arrived.
