Mr. French is hosting a sharing and listening session for parents and family members on Monday, February 11, 2019, from 6:30-7:30 in the Gatewood Media Center. He will share information and give updates on:
- the new literacy curriculum and how students are performing;
- progress on our new School-wide Title I work this school year that has interventionists going into classrooms and working with all students;
- supports for family members in supporting their children at home;
- the work on Hopkins District's 2031 Vision and how Gatewood is working to reimagine our computer lab, environmental education, and other hands-on learning.
Please join Mr. French and Mrs. Bloedorn, Gatewood's Literacy Coach, on February 11, 2019, to learn how things are going and share your ideas at just over the halfway point of the school year. Thank you.

Active Kids Summer Sports Camps – Hopkins Pavilion
Kids ages 6-12 enjoy a full summer of sport instruction, group fitness, recreational play and an ultimate field trip each week! June 10th – August 30th. See flyer in the Electronic Backpack.
Hopkins Youth Rugby Winter Camp
Learn the laws of rugby, practice rugby skills and play flag rugby games! This will be a Rookie Flag Rugby camp where participants will develop skills in agility and speed, which are applicable to any sport. Flag Rugby is a safe, non-contact, easy to play game for boys and girls! The rules are simple, the game is easy to learn, and no experience is required.

Ballet, Tap and Jazz Dance
A combo class consisting of three styles of dance! Learn the foundation for all styles of dance with ballet training. Tap will focus on following rhythm through quick foot movement. Jazz includes a blend of funk-style movements and hip hop moves. Ballet and Tap shoes are required, jazz shoes are optional.
