Letters of kindness connected Eisenhower Elementary and Hopkins High School on Nov. 26, exemplifying one of Hopkins core values — love! Sixth grade students wrote letters of kindness to high school students with words of encouragement, drawings, jokes and more. The letters were intended to brighten someone’s day and bring a smile to their faces.
The Hopkins High School Change to Chill club helped pass out the letters during the lunch period. Change to Chill is geared toward helping students manage stress and find balance. The high school students were so delighted by the kind gesture that they wrote notes back.
