Pat Boyd RN, has been the Licensed School Nurse (LSN) in the Hopkins School District since 1995. She worked as the school nurse at Eisenhower Elementary for 7 years and currently works as the Non-public Nurse for Hopkins School District. Previously she worked for Minnesota Visiting Nurse Association, Regions Hospital Pediatric Clinic and Childrens Hospital of St Paul. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato and her Masters in Education from Hamline. She is a member of School Nurse Organization of MN and the National School Nurses Association.

 

Pat works with students, families and school staff to promote health, prevent illness, manage chronic health problems, care for acute illness and injuries in an effort to ensure school success. She can assist you with referrals to community health resources, including low cost medical care, vision services, mental health care and dental care.

Pat lives in Deephaven with her husband Randy. She enjoys reading, sailing, and gardening. She has three adult daughters and a large extended family.
