Free student meals continue in the summer with a few key changes

Hopkins free bulk meal service for students continues in the summer! As we progress through summer, there will be a few changes to the program that will begin in July. Please read through the following information to learn what you can expect.

One thing that remains the same — we will continue providing your student(s) 7 days of food per week! 

Changes begin in July

Starting in July, meal order deadlines, pick-up locations, and pick-up and delivery schedules will change. 

New meal pre-order schedule:

Pre-order form will be available on Fridays. Orders must be made by 2:00 each Monday. Mondays are the last day to place your order each week.

July-August meal pick-up locations: 

Families will be able to pick up meals at these locations only. 

  • Alice Smith Elementary

  • Gatewood Elementary

  • Eisenhower Elementary

  • West Junior High

  • Hopkins High School

New curbside pick-up day and times:

All families will follow the same pick-up schedule.

Thursdays, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.


Critical-need home delivery day and time change:.

Thursdays, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.  

  • District Volunteers will be driving to your home

  • Please have your phone on

  • Someone must be home to receive the delivery
